Eco Friendly, tall and narrow Home Design at San Francisco by Architect Craig Steely

ADS

This narrow home design perhaps the pride of Mullen Street located in Bernal Heights, San Fransisco which really have diverse elements with contemporary details in it just like what have been described by Craig Steely. The main ideas expressed on this San Francisco house are transparency, sunlight, and a direct connection to nature. Finished in a natural wood makes this slim, tall and clad house design looks warm. We love the use of expansive windows giving chances of sunlight to brighten up the home.

The innovative modern house is an earth friendly home design where it features photovoltaic panels to give energy towards this house and a sod roof. The 25 feet bamboo tree growing through the center of this house really makes it more enjoyable and nature seems to be brought from the outside to the interior of this house designed by Craig Steely Architect

The Hall House was designed for a couple without a child in Shiga, Japan which wanted to have enough space for spare time activities on a small site. The house has parking lot, billiard-theater, dining-kitchen and bedroom with bathroom which all are contained in one hall changing their heights according to the slope of the front road. The frame made of reinforced concrete with about 180mm-thick walls in order to create soundproof environment. There are many exclusive things in the Hall’s House interior design like the glass bathroom, not isolated bedroom, rustic yet sophisticated look of concrete walls, unusual sloped roof and so on. It is great example of the new age’s architecture. [ALPHAVILLE]

House with Unusual Wave-Like Roof – Ribbon House by Hartree

ADS

The Ribbon House is located at the Perth’s fringe, beautifully oriented north, and overlooking a perfect circular body of water. Main aim of the Hartree + Associates Architects was to eliminate dark interiors typical of small lot development. Glass living room block projects out dramatically over the landscape to become an open verandah. Mid level is the primary living space connected to the verandah with generous openings and arranged around a chiseled out breezeway adjacent the vertical circulation core. The house’s roof is what easily could seduce the attention passing public and the neighborhood. With this house, Hartree + Associates Architects demonstrated the ability to provide a quality home on a small allotment.

It’s the system of two containers manufactures specially for housing. ConHouse pushes the development of containers manufactured especially for housing and office purposes. Before ConHouse small container houses projects was mostly made with usual cargo containers.

The 2+ is a two-level mini housing unit composed of two containers perpendicular to each other. It shows that a minimal number of containers combined in an innovative fashion offers fresh yet functional architectural solutions. Thanks to colors and minimalistic look the design of the house looks quite modern. The upper container provides a projecting roof above the entrance as well as serves to shelter the back terrace. The ceiling of the bottom container is also a terrace of the first floor.
